Drs. Allen Huang, Jeffrey Wang, Victoria Chen and Vinne Chen, with Significance Dental Specialists, are pleased to announce that they are now accepting new patients with receding gums in Henderson, NV, without the necessity of a referral. This modern practice utilizes the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST™), an innovative procedure that uses minimally-invasive techniques to treat gum recession.

The team at Significance Dental Specialists are always on cutting-edge of their field, utilizing the latest trainings and techniques to provide high-quality, comfortable care for every patient. Receding gum are a serious problem for patients in Henderson, NV. Oftentimes, patients are unaware they have this condition until more detrimental symptoms arise such as sensitive or loose teeth. Teeth become sensitive as a result of the tooth root becoming exposed. Unless treated quickly, these symptoms will worsen and lead to possible tooth loss and gum disease. Periodontists recommend corrective procedures as soon as the condition is diagnosed.

PST™ is a unique new procedure that allows a periodontist to easily and quickly move a patient’s gums into their correct position using a small pinhole sized incision in the gums. Traditional alternatives include surgical removal of tissue from another area of the mouth and grafting it over the recessed area. Using PST™, doctors use specialized tools to gently move already existing gum tissue back in place allowing patients a faster recovery time and little discomfort. Patients see immediate results, and are often back to their regular schedules in just a few hours.

Patients with receding gums in Henderson, NV, no longer need to hide their smiles or live with tooth sensitivity. Those who are interested in learning more about the PST™ from a periodontist can schedule an appointment at Significance Dental Specialists by calling any of their four office locations or visiting their website at
