Belgian advertising/communications firm strengthens MAGNET's membership in Europe; agency brings strong business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience.

A cross-border operation could be useful to help us serve and win new multi-national clients. I look forward to sharing more about customer behavior, market tendencies and technological developments with my MAGNET colleagues.

MAGNET Global Network (http://www.MAGNETGlobal.org) - the Marketing & Advertising Global Network of leading independent advertising agencies, has enhanced its European presence with the addition of Belgium’s Group Van Damme (http://www.groupvandamme.eu), a 45-year-old agency based near Bruges, Belgium.

Group Van Damme is owned and managed by brothers Bram and Hart Van Damme, CEO and managing partner, respectively. Bram has experience with many major corporations such as Electrolux, Nokia, Apple, Deloitte, LEGO and Hewlett Packard. The agency started by their father, Jaak Van Damme, began as a graphic design/printing firm, but has evolved over the years into a fully integrated online and offline communications agency, assisting customers with a wide array of services, from marketing and communications strategies, to concept development, production and publishing.

The firm has 40 employees with B to C and B to B experience in industries such as personal haircare products, international tax law, retail, commercial appliance manufacturing, construction, and steel wire transformation and coating technologies, serving clients such as Alliance Laundry Systems, Yess! – Retail Team, Sinelco International, Kijk & Bouw, Tiberghien Lawyers, Bekaert Maccaferri Underground Solutions, and others.

MAGNET has more than 40 independent agencies across the globe from the United States, Canada and Europe, to Korea, Japan, United Emirates, China, Russia and Australia, creating a unique alliance built on the concept that shared knowledge and intelligence creates stronger agency relationships both internally and externally with clients. Collectively, the group serves more than 800 clients worldwide, billing nearly $3 billion dollars annually from offices in all major U.S. markets and around the world, including Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, London, Melbourne, Moscow, Munich, Paris, Sao Paulo, Seoul and Vancouver. That sharing of ideas is what drew Group Van Damme to the Network.

“’I’ll be able to share ideas, insights and best practices with colleagues from around the world and learn from others,” said Bram Van Damme. “Additionally, a cross-border operation could be useful to help us serve and win new multi-national clients. I look forward to sharing more about customer behavior, market tendencies and technological developments with my MAGNET colleagues.” For more information about Group Van Damme, visit http://www.groupvandamme.eu
