The solo art show “Worth the Weight” will showcase new pieces from Aiseborn. The show highlights his signature style seamlessly incorporating street art, contemporary, graffiti, classic, futurism, and Romanesque. The opening reception will be held Thursday, September 22nd, 2016 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Container Yard, 800 E. 4th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90013. The show will be up until October 20, 2016. Aiseborn explains the concept of the show, “’Worth the Weight’ is a metaphor highlighting that good things take time. Developing this body of work has taken time.” The reception is by invitation only. To RSVP contact Rushing Media.

About the show: The pieces feature texture, layers and a process that was implemented, combining the rules of design and elements of art. A common theme of gold is used within the paintings. The idea of “worth,” is the value in it and there is value in the time it takes to create something. “I look at them [paintings] as gold. Gold is not a light material, it’s a heavy one. There was a time when people would only pay for things based on weight. There are a lot of people (my supporters) that have been waiting to see this show come to be. Now that it is happening, it’s worth everything,” Aiseborn relects. The show is being curated by Lester Grant of The Grant Collections.
