This November 17-18, Innovation Enterprise will play host to the annual Chief Digital Officer Forum in Chicago. The two-day event will see speakers from companies including New York Post, Domino’s, Warner Bros, Activision, MTV, Viacom, and many others sharing insights into how their company is preparing for the future of digital whilst tackling major problems and opportunities.

The role of the CDO has changed significantly since its conception. Originally perceived as a temporary role guaranteeing self-redundancy, the title now commands a significant position spot in the board room and is arguably one of the more important members of any organization. Digital transformation is an ongoing process and even once it’s been embedded into every area of the company, a digital-first mindset is always necessary. The role is so multifaceted that it has connections with strategy, finance, marketing and creative, making it one of the most interesting roles in modern business.

The Chief Digital Officer Forum this November will see executive-level attendees come together to hear from some of the most digitally proficient companies in the market. Day one of the event will focus on the ongoing digital transformation being exploited by some companies, and forced upon others. Some companies have seen digital as the perfect opportunity to reposition their brand either subtly or drastically, while others are simply looking to keep up in a rapidly developing space. Day two will focus more on the specifics, from user experience to engagement strategy, giving attendees real examples of how they can navigate some of digital’s most pressing challenges.

As well as insight from the industry’s leading voices, attendees will be given the opportunity to meet with other executive-level delegates, share ideas and discuss problems and opportunities, potentially forging the next great business partnership for their company. Panel discussions will be supplemented by organized networking sessions, and attendees will leave the summit equipped to navigate the often uncertain, but always exciting future of digital.
