Educators must parse through vendor marketing buzz, while vendors must understand institutional decision-making processes. And that’s where Phil and Michael come in.

NobleStream, a leading education consultancy that helps academic institutions evaluate, implement and optimize EdTech solutions that drive student success and organizational growth, proudly announced today that it is featuring EdTech thought leaders Phil Hill and Michael Feldstein in a three-part webinar series this fall entitled “The Modern Learning Platform: Not Your Mother’s Old LMS”.
On the heels of announcing their new subscription service, The e-Literate Big Picture: LMS, Phil and Michael are committed to shedding light on a market that continues to remain mystifying while existing at the center of the student experience.
In the webinar series Mr. Hill and Mr. Feldstein, who co-founded and regularly contribute to the EdTech industry’s pre-eminent blog “e-Literate,” will deliver a 360-degree view of transformative trends and critical challenges on the higher education landscape.
The first webinar entitled “Founders Vision” will take place on November 2, 2016 at 2pm. It will explore Mr. Hill and Mr. Feldstein’s respective paths to becoming thought leaders in the EdTech space, and the vision behind their acclaimed e-Literate blog, which is widely considered to be the be the EdTech community’s “go-to” blog for editorially independent insights, advice, opinion, discussion and debate. In addition to their regular writing, they actively consult with numerous institutions and technology companies and have now added the Big Picture subscription to their suite of services.
The second webinar entitled “Institutional Strategy and Decision-Making” will take place on November 9, 2016 at 2pm. It will focus on helping change-agent educators understand the importance of pedagogy beyond technology platforms, and why faculty objectives and student requirements must align with the strategic institutional decision-making process.
The third webinar entitled “Vendor Strategy and Support” will take place on November 16, 2016 at 2pm. It will explore all facets of the Learning Platform decision in light of emerging technologies and teaching strategies, and ultimately make selection and implementation easier for both institutions and the myriad of vendors in the marketplace.
All times are Eastern Standard Time (EST), and registration is complimentary. More information is available on the NobleStream website.
“The Learning Platform is becoming ever more central to supporting the educational landscape as it continues to transform,” commented NobleStream’s Managing Partner Howard Weiner. “Educators must parse through vendor marketing buzz, while vendors must understand institutional decision-making processes. And that’s where Phil and Michael come in. We’re delighted to feature them in our fall Webinar series, and look forward to benefiting from their experience, expertise and vision.”
“Despite all of the recent investment in alternative learning platforms, you can’t ignore the importance of the institutional LMS on how a college or university operates” commented e-Literate’s co-Publisher Phil Hill. “We have only recently hit the point where the vast majority of faculty and courses use an LMS, and the exploration of adaptive and personalized learning approaches as well as competency-based education should be seen as a complementary decision. How a school chooses its learning platforms is a critical factor in whether new academic initiatives will succeed or fail.”
