Registration for Creativation University, the new mecca of education for creative industries businesses, is open. The Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) invites qualifying buyers, retailers, distributors, designers, makers, DIYers, educators, demonstrators, professional bloggers, pinners and start-ups to sign up for educational sessions that focus on today’s need-to-know products and business topics. Creativation University is the conference program at Creativation, formerly known as the CHA MEGA Conference & Trade Show, which will take place January 19-23, 2017 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

“We are thrilled to finally reveal our conference program because it offers more than product and business education,” said Nidia Negron, Director of Education. “Everything we’ve planned at Creativation is about inspiration, experiences and opportunities for our creative business community.”

Creativation University features 62 workshops, which offer training for popular projects and techniques, including sewing, fabric painting, home décor and fashion, and 52 business seminars, which feature high-demand speakers who will share best practices for blogging, branding, digital marketing, ecommerce, social media and more.

In addition to traditional workshops and seminars, Creativation University brings new and interactive programs that provide learning and networking opportunities for everyone who works at an organization in the creative industries:
