The recent upgrade to E1 has provided Colonial access to much improved functionality. The users are impressed with the ease of querying, exporting and importing data.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) September 27, 2016
“Colonial Group has been running Oracle’s JD Edwards World since 2000. The recent upgrade to EnterpriseOne has provided Colonial access to much improved functionality in terms of data accessibility,” said Joe Rotureau, Projects Manager at Colonial Group. “The users are impressed with the ease of querying, exporting and importing data in EnterpriseOne. The additional information available helped with the transition to the new system and the overall acceptance.
“While this was our first project with CD Group, it is not our last! Another Colonial division will be migrating from Oracle’s JD Edwards World environment to EnterpriseOne in 2017, and we will again be partnering with CD Group. Their approach to the management of this project suited the needs of our team very well, which led to the overall success of the project.”
The latest version of Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was released in October 2015. In the months leading up to the new release CD Group prepared for Oracle’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 by participating in the beta testing for the User Defined Objects (UDO) and working to validate the data migration scripts for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2.
“Assisting Colonial Group with their Oracle’s JD Edwards World to EnterpriseOne migration project was rewarding,” said Susan Szymanski, Director at CD Group. “Their Oracle’s JD Edwards footprint included distribution, manufacturing and financials. Colonial Group was instrumental in the success of the project and embraced the new features and functionality of EnterpriseOne. We anticipate great success for Colonial Group on this new platform with the opportunity to leverage the expanded user experience. We are currently working on a second project to extend the implementation into additional areas of their business.”
“CD Group has been providing Oracle's JD Edwards solutions for 24 years,” said John Schiff at Oracle. “With this migration from Oracle’s JD Edwards World to EnterpriseOne 9.2, CD Group has demonstrated that the company is able to deliver superior customer experience for Oracle's JD Edwards solutions.”
