Fieldbit, a global leader in real-time augmented reality solutions, announced today the appointment of Stephen Timms to its advisory board. Previously, Stephen spent over a decade in senior executive roles at ClickSoftware.
"I am delighted to welcome Stephen onboard,” said Evyatar Meiron, CEO of Fieldbit. “Stephen’s considerable industry and leadership experience will be a tremendous asset to Fieldbit and to our plans for growth in North America and other markets.”
At ClickSoftware, Stephen served as President of Americas, VP Sales Americas and VP Sales EMEA. Prior to that, he held executive sales roles at IDVelocity and Vignette. He brings considerable technical experience, including the development and delivery of networking and datacomms courses to post-graduate students. Stephen is an alumni of Harvard Business School, having attended their General Manager program in 2013.
Stephen’s decade of experience at ClickSoftware combined with his strong ties in the field service industry, will help Fieldbit to continue to build its reputation as the predominant augmented reality solution for the field service industry, and ensure that the company’s value proposition meets the unique needs of each target market.
“As field service companies continue to fight against problems like an aging workforce, increased labor costs, fewer graduates in vocational subjects or increasing MRO complexity, AR solutions are on the brink of explosive growth,” said Stephen Timms. “Fieldbit is well positioned to be the dominant player in this market. I’m delighted that many of the forward thinking companies I knew or had the pleasure to call customers, will be able to find comprehensive solutions at Fieldbit for the biggest problems that will affect their operational performance in the next few years."
