HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that generator industry professional Eddie Valentin has been hired to the position of Regional Sales Manager for HIPOWER SYSTEM’s Western Region. In that capacity, Valentin will identify prospects and generate sales leads, develop sales strategies to secure new business, and conduct strategic planning and development of new client accounts.

HIPOWER SYSTEMS, a manufacturer of power-generation and power distribution equipment in the U.S. and Canada, today announced that generator industry professional Eddie Valentin has been hired to the position of Regional Sales Manager for HIPOWER SYSTEM’s Western Region. In that capacity, Valentin will identify prospects and generate sales leads, develop sales strategies to secure new business, and conduct strategic planning and development of new client accounts.

He will also be charged with assessing marketing opportunities and target markets, gathering intelligence on customers and competitors, educating customers about the quality and reliability of HIPOWER SYSTEM products and services, and conducting follow-up sales and account maintenance activities.

Valentin has had a long career in sales in the generator industry, having held sales management positions with a number of firms that offer either generators or the add-on products that maximize their value in the field. He has previously been named Industrial Salesman of the Year for a California-based generator manufacturer, and has education or certification in several industry disciplines including Emergency Standby Power Engineering.

“Eddie will be working with prospects and customers from Alaska to Southern California and as far east as Eastern New Mexico,” said Acosta. “We look forward to Eddie spreading the word throughout the region of HIPOWER SYSTEM’s manufacturing excellence and dedication to customer service.”
