If your organization’s receivables process is running smoothly, that means the people behind that process are a cut above average – and they deserve to be recognized for fulfilling such a tall order!

The AR & O2C Network has announced plans to celebrate AR Appreciation Week, October 17th-21st, with giveaways for accounting professionals throughout the week. This annual event was created to recognize and celebrate professionals working in the fields of Accounts Receivable and Order-to-Cash, whose critical work often goes unnoticed in the corporate environment.

“The AR and O2C functions are a critical component of every business, yet the hard work involved often goes under-recognized,” said Brian Cuthbert, Executive Director of IOFM. “If your organization’s receivables process is running smoothly, that means the people behind that process are a cut above average – and they deserve to be recognized for fulfilling such a tall order,” he added.

During AR Appreciation Week, IOFM and the AR & O2C Network will treat one hardworking AR & O2C team each day by awarding their team a $200 gift card to go out for lunch. Submissions will be accepted until October 20, 2016 (noon EST). Those who wish to recognize their own team or any Accounts Receivable or Order-to-Cash team who they believe goes above and beyond can submit entries on the AR & O2C Network website:

The AR & O2C Network will also hold daily drawings during AR Appreciation Week for other prizes via its Facebook page and Twitter account. Experts from the AR & O2C Network and IOFM will review submissions and select award winners. Winners will be notified and announced during AR Appreciation Week (October 10th – 14th).
