The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.
Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City on Friday, September 30.
More than 250 nominations from organizations around the world were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, including Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year and Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year, among others. Enquiron won a Silver Stevie® Award in the Employer of the Year category for Business Services.

That’s why the company ditched the annual performance review and replaced it with a quarterly assessment for mentoring. Supervisors and employees create annual goals together in all levels of the company and each goal must be tied to a corporate goal. The results have been positive. Each year, Enquiron employees take an annual engagement survey, and in 2015, it found that 87% of employees are engaged at work. This year’s engagement rate is 94% with a 92% retention rate.
