University of California, Riverside recently adopted the Evolution Labs SA360 platform to enhance the student-athlete experience for its 17 men's and women's Division I NCAA teams.
SA360 provides student-athletes with engaging app- and web-based content on topics including health and wellness, avoiding risky behavior and assessing and improving their academic skills. UC Riverside joins other top intercollegiate athletic departments that have integrated the platform into their core programming, including Louisiana State University, Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Maryland.
"SA360 uses smart technology to deliver content in a manner that's more compelling and convenient to student-athletes, while enabling the athletic department to provide timely support and advice throughout the academic year," said Janet Lucas, Executive Associate Director of Athletics/SWA at UC Riverside.
The SA360 student-athlete web- and app-based program also includes:
- Comprehensive content on mental health, physical fitness, study and test-taking skills, time management skills, drug and alcohol use, sexual assault, NCAA compliance and career preparedness.
- Pulse surveys, social media, interactive self-tests and digital video to keep students returning for regular updates.
“UC, Riverside is extremely forward-thinking in their efforts to support student-athletes,” said Peter Kraft, CEO of Evolution Labs. “SA360 will enable UC, Riverside to strengthen its engagement with student-athletes and increase the likelihood of their success both on and off the field.”
