New Union Between Baicells And Convergence Will Give Customers Access To Design And Support Services

Baicells Technologies North America, Inc., an emerging provider of disruptive LTE solutions, announced that it has signed ConVergence Technologies as its first U.S. based value-added reseller. This partnership facilitates the introduction and circulation of plug-and-play LTE solutions to a wide audience, including public, private, and government organizations.

While Baicells’ innovative LTE products are currently available through multiple distributors across the United States and Canada, this new union between Baicells and ConVergence will give customers access to design and support services in an array of markets across the United States, as well as the opportunity to deploy LTE as a sustainable and affordable wireless solution to their fixed wireless needs.

“Growing our channel to include resellers who can add additional services is an important step for us,” said Patrick Leary, President of Baicells Technologies North America. “ConVergence Technologies has a team of professionals that includes engineers who can aid in design, RFP development, and other services end customers value and need, especially since fixed LTE is so new to most customers. We look forward to growing together.”

“ConVergence has evaluated a number of WiMax and LTE vendors over the years, but was never quite satisfied with the return on investment for our customers, nor the capability of the company to innovate towards the needs of providers outside the Tier 1 space. With Baicells, we feel we have found a company committed to developing fixed wireless LTE with an exceptional value proposition,” said ConVergence CEO Mark Kruer.

“We have worked closely with the Baicells team throughout the years and we look forward to our new partnership with them.  We are confident that they understand the North America fixed wireless LTE market in a very unique way,” stated Daniel White, Managing Director of Hardware Distribution Sales at ConVergence.

Baicells, an end-to-end LTE solution provider, has three main product sets: Light4g, BroFi, and WeLTE, targeting small cells, rural broadband, and private LTE networks, respectively. We also develop our own cloud core enhanced packet core (EPC) technologies, along with the supporting QAM management and billing software tools. Our solutions support unlicensed spectrum, as well as the newly-created U.S. CBRS band, and higher power 2.x and Canadian 3.x frequencies.
