Wearsafe Wearable “panic button” now sold at Fleet Feet outlets across country

We’re proud to offer the innovative Wearsafe Tag to help keep runners and others well-connected and fully able to enjoy their outdoor activities.

Wearsafe Labs, maker of the Wearsafe Tag, announced today that it shipped products to independently owned Fleet Feet Sports stores. The Carrboro, N.C.- based Fleet Feet Sports is the retail leader in building thriving local running communities and will offer the Wearsafe Tag at Fleet Feet retail outlets in nine states and online at fleetfeet.com. The product is the only wearable personal safety device on the market that instantly sends preselected contacts the wearer’s precise GPS location, and a live audio stream from the wearer’s location.

Lauded by law enforcement and safety advocates alike, The Wearsafe Tag was launched earlier this year and has been heralded as “wearable for worst-case scenarios” and a “tech upgrade to a personal panic button.”

“I’m thrilled to offer this innovative product and service at Fleet Feet that provides peace of mind to my customers and keeps them safe” said, Anne Stancil, Owner of Fleet Feet Tucson, “We’re proud to offer the innovative Wearsafe Tag to help keep runners and others well-connected and fully able to enjoy their outdoor activities.”

The partnership with Fleet Feet includes in-store sales at locations in Connecticut, California, New York, New Hampshire, Maryland, Mississippi, Arizona, Oklahoma, Alabama and Chicago, IL as well as online. The tags will retail for $30.00 which includes six months of free subscription service.

“This association between Wearsafe and Fleet Feet means that more outdoor enthusiasts will be kept safe,” said Wearsafe co-founder Dave Benoit, “And increased availability of our product at retail helps fulfill our mission of empowering as many people as possible with the Wearsafe Tag.”

The company is also offering the “Wearsafe 30 Day Running Challenge.” Runners can try Wearsafe for free for 30 days. “We are betting that runners will increase their activity, feel stronger and more confident incorporating Wearsafe into their running routine,” added Benoit.
