“Our customers have consistently wanted the flexibility and productivity gains XLCubed delivers for Analysis Services available for other data sources, and that’s a key element of what we have delivered with Version 9” Mark Scanlon, CEO XLCubed
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 27, 2016
XLCubed Version 9 has been released to market at the PASS Summit in Seattle, WA, the world’s largest gathering of Microsoft BI professionals. Building on over a decade’s expertise providing class leading client reporting tools for Microsoft Analysis Services, Version 9 represents a major advance in the product’s reach and capability.
XLCubed customers range from midsized organisations to some of the world’s largest corporates with thousands of users. Deep Excel integration augmented with Enterprise control and web and mobile deployment has delivered productivity gains across all aspects of reporting for customers using Analysis Services.
“Our customers have consistently wanted the flexibility and productivity gains XLCubed delivers for Analysis Services available for other data sources, and that’s a key element of what we have delivered with Version 9,” says Mark Scanlon, CEO XLCubed.
New connectors have been added for relational databases, Big Data sources, and to Power BI and SAP HANA, while Data Mashups give users the ability to report coherently across multiple sources.
Version 9 also provides an all-new dashboard designer, helping non-technical Excel based users quickly deliver fully responsive dashboards for use in web and the new Mobile Apps.
Version 9 was previewed at the XLerate 2016 user conference in Dusseldorf in late September where customers from across the DACH region came together to share their experiences and benefit from an early preview. Customers were very positive about the dashboard environment and excited by the additional scope and flexibility brought by the new data connectors.
