Summit Racing has created Detroit Muscle Ultra Violet 1970 Challenger Parts Combos based on PowerNation TV's build,. The Detroit Muscle crew repaired the body, laid it down on a Schwartz Performance G-Machine full-frame chassis, and stuffed in a 451 cubic inch, all-aluminum Gen 2 Hemi that makes 558 horsepower and 484 lbs.-ft. of torque.
The Ultra Violet Challenger Parts Combos highlight some of the components used to complete the build.
Detroit Muscle chose an American Powertrain Tremec T-56 six-speed with a Hydramax hydraulic throwout bearing conversion and a White Lightning shifter. The bellhousing is from Quick Time.
In keeping with the G-Machine/Pro Touring vibe, the DM crew chose Sparco Chrono Road Street seats and four-point harnesses. The factory gauge cluster was replaced with a Classic Thunder Road gauge panel filled with Auto Meter American Muscle gauges. The interior was insulated with Boom Mat products.
Engine Accessories Combo
The engine installation required a few items — a Be Cool Direct Fit cooling module, a Billet Specialties Tru Trac accessory drive system, Sanderson blockhugger headers, and a Summit Racing ProTorque starter.
