MrktServ Holdings announces preparations that are underway for the launch of its pilot programs, which are set for January 2017. It has been a yearlong effort that is now in its final phases.
These pilot programs will consist of a master catalog that will eventually incorporate the entire automotive industry. The catalog being built currently contains over 20,000 unique product categories to choose from. These categories represent a firm reflection of the depth of product types, also known as item classes, against all market segments that exist in the industry today.
The strategy for the launch is to deliver on assortment expansion for retailers to meet their initial goals and requirements. With online traffic continually increasing, retailers have the opportunity to widen their offering in order to further grow their consumer market. The master catalog that MrktServ Holdings is building will be a major component to supplement this growth for retailers. Further, the pilot programs will be developed to deliver the best data and content available, while also correlating with the user expectations retailers have. This allows retailers to sample growth potentials on a smaller scale with minimal risk.
