Journalists Invited to Attend SAE International Symposium on Augmented and Virtual Reality Technologies
WARRENDALE, Pa. (PRWEB) November 01, 2016 -- Journalists and other credentials media are invited to attend the SAE 2016 Augmented and Virtual Reality Technologies Symposium, which will be held Nov. 14-16 at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue, in Philadelphia.
During the symposium, attendees will learn from industry experts on a variety of topics, including discussion of and industry reaction to CARB and EC emission regulations as well as CAFE standards and the latest EPA Tier 3 emissions and fuel regulations, mandated from 2017.
Two panel discussions with augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) industry leaders will be held, including:
• Tuesday, Nov. 15 – This panel will provide an outlook at the future of AR/VR. The panel currently consists of Joseph Barkai and Raven Zachary of Object Theory. They will answer the question “what does the future in the augmented-reality age look like?”
• Wednesday, Nov. 16 – This panel will be moderated by Lorrie J. Sivich of Boeing Research & Technology, will provide presentations of experiences on knowledge transfer using ARVR.
