Next Day Blinds headquartered in Jessup, MD announces leadership changes as it looks to its future

Allison Siegel, President Next Day Blinds

This is an exciting time for Next Day Blinds as we continue to evolve and look forward to the next chapter for our company.

Next Day Blinds has been providing the greater Baltimore-Washington metro area premium custom window coverings since 1993. Steve Freishtat founded Next Day Blinds for one reason: to sell and install premium quality, fully custom blinds and shades in days instead of weeks at factory direct prices. Next Day Blinds sells its own Next Day Blinds branded product through its retail showrooms, in-home sales consultants and eCommerce website. They custom manufacture their blinds, shades and shutters in their 120,000 square foot factory in Jessup, MD. Next Day Blinds also employs a large team of professional measurers and installers that ensure a perfect fit for each customer’s specific window. This business model puts Next Day Blinds in a unique category as a retail manufacturer and it is one of America’s largest for custom window coverings.

Since the Company’s inception, Steve Freishtat has served as President and CEO. As the Company looks to the future with a focus on growth, we are pleased to announce the promotion of Allison Siegel to President of Next Day Blinds. Steve will continue as CEO; this new organizational structure best serves the future ambitions of the Company.

In the time Allison has been with Next Day Blinds as Chief Revenue Officer, she has demonstrated a profound sense of the Company’s differentiators in the window covering industry and the Company’s impact on the local community. Moreover, Allison shares Steve’s passion and commitment to customer service, accountability, and building on the foundational ideals of the Company.

Since joining Next Day Blinds in September 2014, Allison has been instrumental in moving the Company forward through her hard work and dedication. During this time, the Company has experienced positive results for revenue growth, profitability, and, most importantly, the building of platforms for future growth. Allison’s strong leadership and accomplished background in industrial engineering and information technology provide a unique perspective that serves the Company well. Allison is a progressive and contemporary thinker who is wholly committed to organizational health and employee engagement.

Commenting, Steve Freishtat said, “This is an exciting time for Next Day Blinds as we continue to evolve and look forward to the next chapter for our Company, our employees, and our customers. Allison continues to impress me and has been an influential leader and a positive change agent since she came on board. Through Allison’s leadership and our shared values we will continue to build on our past and present successes”.
