Softex Inc, an established market leader in Enterprise Single Sign-On, Identity and Access Management and Data Protection Solutions, announced today that it has partnered with Synaptics to enable biometric fingerprint Single Sign-On (SSO) to TTeSPORTS’ latest gaming mouse, the Black FP.

The Black FP gaming mouse leverages a FIDO UAF certified Synaptics fingerprint sensor that provides strong, safe and secure password protection for today’s PC user. Integrating Synaptics’ Iron Veil technology along with state-of-the-art National Security Agency (NSA) approved 256-bit advanced data encryption standard, the Black FP provides users with a fast and secure password-less experience by enabling users to sign-in to their PCs and favorite websites with a simple touch of a finger.

Through the partnership, Softex has integrated Synaptics’ Fingerprint Management Application (FMA) into its OmniPass Password Manager and Single Sign-on solution resulting in a custom fingerprint application for the TTeSPORTS Black FP mouse. Black FP users can not only securely and easily sign-in to Windows and websites, but can also lock and unlock important files and folders with the touch of the fingerprint scanner located directly on their mouse.

“We are very excited to partner with Synaptics to enable secure and simple sign-on through a unique product such as the Black FP mouse from TTeSPORTS,” said Apurva Bhansali, CEO of Softex. “Fingerprint sign-in to Windows and websites has become mainstream thanks to the promotional efforts of those like Microsoft and the FIDO Alliance. Having the convenience of a fingerprint scanner located on the mouse, where your hand rests naturally, allows the utmost convenience to securely sign-in to websites or unlock protected documents”.
