Christopher Allison explains that one does not have to choose modern life or spirituality. Instead, the two ideas or concepts can work together and function.

Christopher Allison founded United Real Estate Services, Inc. in 1995 in the state of New Jersey and later, New York. He is a savvy businessman who has also experienced several spiritual revelations in his lifetime. He considers himself a “street guy who can function in the corporate world.” However, he is also engaged deeply in spiritual study and analysis. His ideas, although controversial, may help others on their journey toward spiritual enlightenment and understanding.

In his new book, Christopher Allison explains that one does not have to choose modern life or spirituality. Instead, the two ideas or concepts can work together and function. His book is based on this premise, which is partly why it is entitled There’s a Place in the Middle. Allison explains that God is only interested in whether you are a good person and whether you are doing positive things — your particular religion is not especially relevant. As long as individuals love and help others, they can develop spiritually in a way that is pleasing to God.

In his book, Allison takes traditional religious concepts, including prayer, free will, and equality, and explains how they function in the modern world. He tackles difficult topics including organized religion as a whole. He also provides analysis related to how each of the Ten Commandments can be viewed and applied in the spiritual sense, instead of the religious sense. His analysis is directly related to modern problems and issues.

Equally important, Allison describes his personal spiritual experiences, including seeing depictions of Jesus. In fact, the image on the cover of Allison’s book is a portrayal of the vision that he experienced on July 29, 2010.

Allison argues that while most organized religions are positive, they are incomplete. He also ventures into controversial aspects of religion. He writes, “I often watch the news or world events and I don’t understand how a religion, or a religious group, takes credit for an event — either good or bad. They don’t represent in entirety any one race, religion, or creed. That’s why I say I was taught there is a place in the middle. The question is, how do we get there?”

Allison encourages readers to view his spiritual mission. His thought-provoking ideas suggest a different way to view religion, spirituality, and many cornerstones of religious ideals.
