Maintenance Connection is a clear fit for me as the company has continually shown financial stability and customer growth
Davis, CA (PRWEB) November 29, 2016
Maintenance Connection recently welcomed new chief financial officer (CFO) Mark Cuny, as the company continues to build out its executive team during a high-growth phase. Earlier this year, Maintenance Connection, the industry’s leading computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), announced an investment partnership with TA Associates, a leading global private equity firm. The partnership results from a significant expansion of Maintenance Connection’s customer base and employee headcount.
Cuny joins the team with more than 20 years of financial experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) and enterprise software markets. Previously, Cuny held key leadership roles in the finance team at Siebel Systems as it grew from $2 million to $2 billion in only five years, which resulted in taking the company public in 1996. The company was later acquired by Oracle. Most recently Mark was CFO of Telestream, a Toma Bravo portfolio company that was acquired by Genstar Capital. His track record also includes managing mergers and acquisitions for high-growth enterprise software companies.
“Our decision to bring on a seasoned CFO is a critical operational step to support our growth strategy in the CMMS industry,” says newly appointed CEO Eric Morgan. “Mark is a seasoned financial executive with the kind of proven success that Maintenance Connection was looking for as we scale our business.”
At Maintenance Connection, Cuny will be responsible for all financial, accounting and legal functions. He’ll head the creation and execution of the company’s financial plan as it looks to capitalize on its robust growth opportunities. “Mark will bring the needed financial discipline to our business as we gear up for growth following the TA Associates investment,” added Morgan.
“Maintenance Connection is a clear fit for me as the company has continually shown financial stability and customer growth,” says Cuny. “I’m looking forward to what the future holds for both the company and my role as we enter this high-growth phase and dominate the CMMS field.”
Cuny holds a bachelors of science in accounting from Minnesota’s Winona State University. In addition, Cuny has earned a CPA certification in Minnesota.
