Patriotic Rock Band Madison Rising Files Lawsuit Against Former Singer Dave Bray

In the suit, Purple Eagle Entertainment, the parent of Madison Rising, alleges numerous breaches of contract by the former singer, defamation and tortious interference

Purple Eagle Entertainment, the parent of Madison Rising, announced today that it has filed suit (Index No. 160022/2016) in New York State Supreme Court against former singer Dave Bray.

The suit alleges numerous breaches of contract by Bray both during his tenure with the band and since his termination, theft of intellectual property, defamation and interference with the company’s business relationships.

Among other things, the suit requests injunctive relief against Bray’s alleged continuing use of Madison Rising property, as well as the immediate cessation of all alleged interference and defamatory activities against the band, the management and the company.
