She brings a decade of experience in sales, brand management, and marketing within higher education and Fortune 500 companies.

Austermehle comes to Modo Labs from Cengage Learning, the leading educational content, technology, and services company for higher education. There she managed a marketing team and collaborated with executives, global production management, and international teams on company alignment and national higher education initiatives.
Prior to Cengage Learning, she managed a business unit at McGraw-Hill and previously led technology platform training at Pearson Education. She also served on the Board of Directors at Breathe California Golden Gate Public Health Partnership.
Austermehle holds a B.A. in Communications from Pennsylvania State University.
