DMG Productions is proud to announce the upcoming airing of the highly acclaimed series, Innovations with Ed Begley, Jr., scheduled to broadcast Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 7:30aET/7:30aPT via Discovery Channel.

Traveling to Lucama, North Carolina, Innovations went behind-the-scenes to learn about the sixth generation run family business, Scott Farms. With a history as rich as its soil, the farm is dedicated to moving forward using innovation and automation. As a result, it has expanded operations overseas, and has never given up on their beliefs in providing high quality, superior product. Viewers will learn about the farm, its history, and what makes it a leader in the community, as well as how technology and food safety measures are guiding them to the forefront of the industry.

Next, viewers will learn about Mesocore, and its mission to create adequate, sustainable homes, as an affordable world commodity. The show will inform about the Mesocore concept, which incorporates rainwater and solar energy harvesting, allowing for off-grid applications. In addition to exploring Mesocore’s sustainable aspects, the show will uncover how it embraces modern manufacturing technology and integrates all of this into an innovative unique intermodal delivery system.

The show will also highlight True Fresh, known for its High Pressure Processing (HPP) equipment. Viewers will learn how HPP respects the nutritional properties of food, preserving its original freshness throughout the shelf life.

Finally, the episode will focus on Heidolph USA, founded in 1938 as a manufacturer of precision drive motors and engineering. Today, the company provides high quality laboratory products, support, and services to the industry. The segment will focus on the Hei-VAP series, which are forming the ideal basis for intelligent evaporation with the laboratory setting. These evaporators are suitable for standard distillation, for complex distilling processes, as well as for automatic distillation.
