Standard Process Inc. awarded a $2,500 scholarship to Kassandra Kaas, a student at Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU), during the university’s Chiropractic Homecoming and Winter Gathering held February 4, 2016.The company considers the relationship between chiropractic care and nutrition a key factor in obtaining optimal health. It has offered chiropractic scholarships to students attending NWHSU since 2010.
“I am incredibly grateful to have received such a generous award from a company dedicated to helping people achieve optimal health,” from Kaas. “I deeply appreciate this scholarship and everything Standard Process does to support and elevate the chiropractic profession.”
Kaas is an eighth trimester student at NWHSU, located in Bloomington, Minnesota. To qualify for the scholarship, she maintained a cumulative grade point average of 2.9 or higher; provided a list of her contributions to the chiropractic profession, NWHSU, and the community; and provided a letter of recommendation. Kaas also submitted an essay describing how she will guide future patients around nutritional myths.
