"Earth Day offers an opportunity for us to take a step back and say thank you to the incredible customers who help us continue to fulfill our mission every day.” Mike Durham, CEO of Peachjar

With Earth Day upon us, Peachjar recently took the opportunity to calculate how many pieces of paper the business has saved schools and program providers in its four years working with these customers. With both schools posting flyers through the system as well as local program providers like the YMCA and Girl Scouts, the paper savings is significant from one district to the next.
So significant, in fact, that ABC News reported on March 9 that the 8th largest school district in the country alone saved over 16 million pieces of paper and 2,000 trees in its first 7 months of using Peachjar. The report inspired Peachjar customer school districts to contact Peachjar to find out their own paper and cost savings having used Peachjar, and the results are quite significant from one district to the next. See the report that profiles 3 school districts whom collectively save 4.7 million pieces of paper and $6 million dollars on an annual basis because of their use of Peachjar.
In the spirit of Earth Day, Peachjar would like to take the opportunity to thank some of the school districts and program providers whom have lent significantly to Peachjar’s record paper savings in its 4 year history. The school districts and program providers who’ve saved the most pieces of paper and thus, trees, over time with Peachjar are as follows:
School District Customers: Davis School District in Utah, and Chula Vista Elementary School District and Moreno Valley Unified School District in California, together have saved a total of 106,517,374 pieces of paper and 12,783 trees in their time using Peachjar!
Program Provider Customers: Get College Funding, ScoreBeyond, and The College Board together have saved a total of 6.3 million pieces of paper and 766 trees in their time using Peachjar!
“Peachjar is able to spread the word to parents about quality afterschool and enrichment programs for K-12 students across the country, all while helping school districts save large amounts of paper and taxpayer money. Earth Day offers an opportunity for us to take a step back and say thank you to the incredible customers who help us continue to fulfill our mission every day.” says Peachjar CEO Mike Durham.
