“Our UK MuleSoft development team is primed to deliver a successful project, and ensure that NHS Blood and Transplant has a fully integrated, smooth running, and well maintained suite of digital services,” said Arnold Leung, Appnovation CEO.

In a further boost to their growing UK project portfolio, Appnovation announced today that it has been selected to work with National Health Service Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) on a new MuleSoft integration project. Requiring a full stack MuleSoft support partner, it was decided that, with a proven track record in terms of integrations delivery and support, Appnovation were well placed and highly equipped to handle this important project.
Ultimately, this MuleSoft-based project will enable much of NHS Blood and Transplant’s systems infrastructure to be relocated to the cloud, a significant move in terms of capacity, stability, and flexibility.
NHS Blood and Transplant is a joint England and Wales Special Health Authority. It is responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient supply of blood and associated services to the NHS in England. It is also the organ donation organization for the UK and is responsible for matching and allocating donated organs.
As one of the most treasured, respected and renowned institutions in the UK, Appnovation is genuinely proud to be working with a Special Health Authority of the NHS, and Appnovation already has its highly experienced British based project team in place.
“Everyone in our UK offices is aware of, and speaks to the importance of the NHS in Britain, and it’s an honour to have been chosen to work with NHSBT on this highly important initiative," said Arnold Leung, Appnovation CEO.
“Our UK MuleSoft development team, which includes some of the foremost MuleSoft experts in Europe, is primed to deliver a successful project, and ensure that NHS Blood and Transplant has a fully integrated, smooth running, and well maintained suite of digital services.”
With 15 offices worldwide, and two UK offices (Reading and Cardiff), Appnovation may be a global company, but it is also a company that appreciates the magnitude of any NHSBT project on a local and national level, and is ready to once again showcase the power of MuleSoft within what is a particularly important area of the health service.
Thanks to their recent acquisition of Wunderkraut Benelux, (and growing employee numbers in their Reading and Cardiff locations), which gives it increased MuleSoft project capabilities, the NHS Blood and Transplant contract is likely to be just one of many such projects on their books in the near future.
