Through the free messaging app, caregivers can find the one-on-one support they need from a fellow caregiver who understands, when they are alone or unable to get to a support group. The Care Better® community has been growing through their website carebetter.net and we are excited to further expand the community by launching the app. Former caregivers who would like to micro-volunteer are encouraged to join their community.
The Care Better® app offers advice from experts on dealing with behavior, diet issues, and family dynamics, as well as navigating insurance and long distance demands. Working with Dr. Bersing, it is Amy Epting, a registered dietician and experienced aging expert, both, available to answer questions on demand through the app when caregivers need it most.
The app also includes curated Alzheimer’s and Dementia news and research from trusted experts to help caregivers stay informed.
We want to congratulate Susan Hamilton, CEO and Founder of Care Better® for this cutting-edge app that would facilitate and support family caregivers when dealing with their loved ones suffering from Dementia. Brava, Susan!
