The 25th Annual Summer Nights Series of live music, dinners, cocktails, picnics, dancing, Kid Zone, and fun for all will begin on Saturday July 8th and continue for a total of 5 consecutive Saturday nights. This outdoor music series has been created to celebrate diversity, find commonalities, and bring generations together through live music. 5 evenings of community building through the arts in an intimate, safe, relaxed and beautiful setting.
Each evening offers dinners for sale from an on-site "pop-up" featuring a local favorite restaurant; a children’s hands-on project hosted by a partnering non-profit, festival shopping from Good Will Industries and additional pre-concert fun. From playground to dance floor, blanket seating to chair seating, these nights are designed to welcome all ages to come share a night of music, culture, fun and each other together.

A southwestern-tinged, rowdy string band sound infused with a sense of relaxed, experienced confidence,
7/15~African: Thomas Mapfumo & The Blacks Unlimited
A unique African music genre, Chimurenga music, (or music for the struggle of the people) is traditional and timeless. Pre-concert African Dance Class.
7/22~Latin Big Band: Pacific Mambo Orchestra
This Grammy winning 19-piece Latin Big Band orchestra plays salsa, Latin Jazz, cha cha cha, bachata, and more.

Congo born musician and singer, Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loco bring their blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms with pan-African styles -

8/5~Celebrate the Summer of Love: Melvin Seals & JGB
Come in tie-dye and bell bottoms and celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love. Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and Keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Adding his rock-gospel- soul-rhythm and blues touch with his funky style of playing, no wonder Jerry nicknamed him “Master of the Universe

The Kanbar Center for the Performing Arts is the Performing Arts Department within the Osher Marin Jewish Community Center in San Rafael, California.
