The award (DM200) is presented to companies based on their overall direct mail revenue.
In addition to the Bell+Howell DM200 Ranking, Drummond improved its position within the Printing Impressions 400 (PI400) this year by four places, moving up to number 211, while posting 14% growth over the previous year.

The starting point in Bell and Howell's research was the 2016 "Printing Impressions 400", issued in December 2016. It ranks commercial printers by annual revenue and includes share of revenue attributed to direct mail operations. Bell and Howell compiled the list using publicly available information and its own primary research to create the ranking. The research was led by Bell and Howell’s Senior Director Haroon Abbu , Ph.D.
