The stakes are high at the Jersey Shore for this year’s Haskell Invitational

The Jersey Shore is gearing up for the 50th annual Haskell Invitational race at Monmouth Park, Oceanport, New Jersey on Sunday, July 30, 2017 for the Grade 1, $1,000,000 Betfair.com race. This year’s invitational will be featuring the horse Practical Joke who placed 5th in the Kentucky Derby and won at Belmont Park. It should be a great day!

In years past, the Haskell has been host to many great horses including the Triple Crown winner American Pharaoh and last year the Preakness champ Exaggerator who beat Derby winner Nyquist in a very exciting race. Bring the friends and family to celebrate.

The Haskell Invitational will air live on NBC from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Gates open early at 10:00 a.m. and first post is 12:00 p.m. Admission that day is $8 Grandstand ($4 seniors) and $10 Clubhouse ($5 seniors).
