Percy Miller and Global Mixed Gender Basketball League made history in Las Vegas at the Cox Pavilion on Saturday September 23rd. Both NBA and WNBA players came out to play and witness this historical event.

Percy Miller and the Global Mixed Gender Basketball League (GMGB) made history on Saturday, September 23rd at the COX Pavilion in Las Vegas. Both NBA and WNBA stars came out to play and witness this historical event.

“Many people didn’t see the vision,” says Miller, “We had to put the players together in the right situation, the players came out to play and support this exhibition game.” Miller who is the owner of the New Orleans Gators also serves as the leagues president, was determined to create a visual with high level athletes both men and women professionals playing each other. “GMGB is all about equality, equal pay for equal play.” Continued Miller. The Atlanta Heirs is owned by multi-platinum artist, Temeka, Tiny Harris were the winners of the event.

The two teams competed in front of a star-studded audience, the Cox was packed with excited fans and high-level basketball and a piece of sports history was made. GMGB is built on equality for the new millennial pro-basketball audience. The teams were stacked with big names in the pro-basketball genre: Carlos Boozer, Lisa Leslie, Angel McCoughtry, Caron Butler, the Gonzalez Twins, Cappie Pondexter, Stromile Swift, Tyrus Thomas, Brittney Griner and Metta World Piece, just to name a few.

The exhibition game ended with basketball fans and critics amazed and impressed as GMGB League paraphernalia sold out. Metta World Peace said, “Tonight was ground breaking, a real game changer. I can’t wait until basketball fans all over the world can experience this up close and personal or through television. These women really can play. And Master P knows firsthand basketball and entertainment.”
