BALTIMORE (PRWEB) October 13, 2017
The Men of Color Leadership Conference (MOC) and The Maryland Daily Record today announced Merck & Co., Johns Hopkins Hospital and Stanley Black & Decker are joining its upcoming conference in Baltimore on October 26th as sponsors. MOC brings together diverse corporate executives and influential men of color to share their experiences and business insights with a focus on personal development.
The MOC program has a long and successful history in Boston and New York City, and is expanding to Baltimore for the first time. The event series was developed by Color Magazine. Color Magazine and The Maryland Daily Record are both part of BridgeTower Media.
“We’re very excited to work with The Maryland Daily Record to bring the Men of Color Leadership event to Maryland,” said Josefina Bonilla, President and Publisher of Color Magazine. “This conference is a wonderful opportunity for professional leaders of color to learn more about leadership development and make lifelong connections with other local leaders. We’re excited to welcome our sponsors to this year’s inaugural event in Baltimore, and are looking forward to meeting all of our attendees.”
MOC provides a comprehensive and dynamic series of executive panels, keynotes and group sessions to engage and inspire experienced professionals and rising stars. Its proprietary content and unique format leave attendees better equipped with tangible techniques and proven strategies from accomplished leaders to navigate today’s business environment. This year’s event is being held at the BWI Hilton.
Speakers at MOC Baltimore include James Page, Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer at Johns Hopkins Medicine; Kaplan Mobray, motivational speaker and former Deloitte executive; Luke Cooper, CEO of Fixt, a leader in online mobile device repair; Daniel Gutierrez, best-selling author and former advisor to President Obama; and many others.
