The Illinois Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ICTFL) is celebrating its 30th anniversary this week, as part of its Fall Conference being held in Tinley Park, IL. For thirty years, this state organization continues to bring together hundreds of foreign language educators across Illinois to learn and share best practices. The 2017 conference theme is “Explore the Core, the World Language Core: Motivate, Measure, Maximize.”

The 30th Anniversary cake cutting celebration will be held on October 20th at the ICTFL 30th Anniversary Awards Luncheon, with Carrie Toth, ICTFL president, joined by Ken Busam, SANS midwest regional manager.
