SureID Announces Sale of its Commercial Business Segment to Industry Leader Sterling Talent Solutions

Transaction Enables SureID to Focus on its Core RAPIDGate®, RAPID-RCx® and PIV-I Credentialing Business under the new name, Fortior Solutions

SureID, Inc., the market leader in high-assurance identity solutions, announced today the sale of its commercial business segment to Sterling Talent Solutions (Sterling), one of the world’s largest background screening and HR solutions companies.

The transaction enables Hillsboro-based SureID to focus on strengthening and expanding its core business in the military, government and critical infrastructure markets. Key products include its patented RAPIDGate® and RAPID-RCx® programs and PIV-I credentialing.

The company will operate under its new assumed business name, Fortior Solutions. The commercial segment under Sterling’s ownership will retain the brand name SureID as a separate business unit of Sterling.

Under the transaction, Sterling is acquiring the SureID network of digital fingerprinting technology, deployed through kiosks with sophisticated, user-friendly biometric technology in more than 800 locations nationally. Sterling also is hiring some SureID employees to support the SureID business.
