Cars tend to retain or even amplify the surrounding temperature when the built in air conditioning or heat is not in use. In the winter, cars can become very cold, causing discomfort for its passengers even when the heat is in use.
An inventor from Santa Monica, Calif., has invented WINTER CAR SNUGGLER, a thermal electric blanket for sleeping overnight within a parked vehicle in cold weather. "I am a home health aide for 4 to 5 days a week and sleep in my car the other 2 to 3 days of the week," said the inventor. "It gets very cold at night and was inspired to invent this device." WINTER CAR SNUGGLER keeps the individual warm and comfortable within the vehicle instead of shivering and suffering.
This invention has a built-in shut-off mechanism to prevent it from draining the car battery, but retains the temperature for up to 8 hours. It would benefit motorists with inoperable car heaters, business travelers, travel enthusiasts and more.
