InventHelp, a leading inventor service company, is working to submit D-Tect to companies for their review.

“I thought there needed to be a better way to call attention to animals or other people while jogging or running,” said an inventor, from Queens Village, N.Y., “so I invented the D-TECT.”

The D-TECT provides an effective way to detect the presence of an animal or person. In doing so, it offers an alternative to traditional personal defense items. As a result, it enhances safety and awareness and it provides added peace of mind. The invention features a durable design that is convenient and easy to use so it is ideal for fitness and outdoor enthusiasts. Additionally, the D-TECT is producible in design variations.

The inventor described the invention design. “My design ensures that joggers are aware of their surroundings, as well as enables them to call for help and be located.”

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
