An inventor from Cadott, Wis., has developed the BD BLOCK, a new type of immersion heater that is used to prevent stock tanks from freezing during the winter months. "I have personal experience with stock tanks freezing, and it has proven to be very difficult to keep livestock hydrated. I wanted to develop a way to prevent this from happening," said the inventor.

The BD BLOCK provides heat to stock tanks. This will ensure livestock has access to water. This heater will help prevent dehydration cases and potentially even deaths. It is producible in versions that are adaptable for use in stock tanks of various geometries. It is ideal for farmers and farm operators.

The original design was submitted to the Minneapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
