PITTSBURGH..."As a home health aide, I dress and undress people on a daily basis," said an inventor from Brooklyn, N.Y. "It can be very difficult to put on and take off their pants. This inspired me to invent a pair of pants designed specifically for individuals with limited mobility."

She created a prototype for the SPLIT PANTS to make it easier to dress and undress a person with limited mobility. The design eliminates hassles and frustrations, and reduces the physical stress and strain involved in putting on and taking off pants. The pants thereby save time and effort. The clothing is designed to offer added convenience to both the wearer and caregivers. In addition, the pants are producible in a variety of styles and sizes.

The original design was submitted to the Long Island office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
