Sitting around a campfire, whether in a park or the back yard, continues to be popular among outdoor enthusiasts. However, getting that fire started is not always an easy task. Fortunately, an inventor from Wyandotte, Okla., has found a way to simplify the process.

He developed a prototype for FIRESTARTER to provide a quick and easy way to start a fire in any location. What’s more, it is safe, practical and waterproof and leaves no residue behind. Besides that, it is made from all natural materials and is versatile and reliable. His patented design is also compact, lightweight and easy to store. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

This improved fire-starting unit requires little time and effort to start and maintain a long-burning fire even in wet and cold weather conditions. The user simply places the unit in the receptacle or area where the fire is to be contained and lights it. It is ideal for use in fireplaces, chimneys, fire pits, smokers and bonfires.

The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “I enjoy the outdoors but was tired of always wasting time trying to get a fire started. With this idea, there is no longer a need to fuss with wadded-up paper and kindling,” he said.

The original design was submitted to the National Sales Office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
