PITTSBURGH...“While constructing decks for years the traditional way, I thought there could be an improved alternative to this traditional method,” said an inventor, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, “so I invented the DECK BRACKET.”
The patent-pending DECK BRACKET offers an improved alternative to traditional ledger board concrete pier construction. My bracket allows the deck to float on store shelf concrete pads that rest on grade, bypassing any worry of frost upheaval. Installation is simple for even inexperienced DIYers. The invention features a durable steel design that is convenient and easy to install. Additionally, a prototype is available.
The inventor described the invention design. “My design will prevent frost issues and related damage for deck owners.”
The original design was submitted to the Toronto office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
