An inventor from Miramar, Fla., knows the hassle and discomfort involved with trying to work on a vehicle engine while the elements are inhospitable. "Tired of struggling to work on my car during rain or a sandstorm, I decided that there should be a dry and clean work area for such a situation," he said. "That’s when I came up with HALO."

This invention protects against the elements while a person is working on the engine of his or her vehicle. It keeps the user and the area dry and clean, as well as provides shade from bright, hot sunlight. As a result, it promotes comfort, efficiency and productivity.

Ergonomic, durable, lightweight, portable, and easy to use and store, HALO is ideal for both mechanics and DIYers.

The original design was submitted to the Hollywood office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
