PepPod is gearing up to attend next year’s ECRM® EPPS event in Washington, D.C., to showcase its unique energy tablets that contain 75-plus trace minerals in addition to electrolytes to provide sustainable energy.

PepPods come in citrus and berry flavors, and can also be purchased in tubes of 10 pods or 30-count boxes, in addition to the new 20-count single packet boxes.

People usually don’t plan to be tired, but they sometimes pull all-nighters working or enjoying time off. If energy drinks are all that’s available, they’ll drink them out of desperation. PepPod needs to be more readily available and accessible so people have healthy alternatives.

The Vitamin, Weight Management and Sports Nutrition Efficient Program Planning Sessions (EPPS) is a trade show where vitamin and nutrition companies like PepPod network with major retail buyers in private sessions to show off their products. EPPS has the potential to grow the brand recognition of PepPod, letting more people and retailers learn about its product, effervescent, nutrient-rich energy pods that dissolve in your beverage of choice.

“ECRM® events are a great way to get PepPod into retail stores, so people have access to them without needing to order online,” PepPod CEO Jennifer Pearce said. “A lot of people are afraid of trying products sold strictly online, so getting into stores like CVS and Walgreens would provide a lot of people an alternative to coffee or sugary energy drinks while on the go.

“People usually don’t plan to be tired, but they sometimes pull all-nighters working or enjoying time off. If energy drinks are all that’s available, they’ll drink them out of desperation. PepPod needs to be more readily available and accessible so people have healthy alternatives. ECRM® can help make that possible.”

EPPS is a branch of the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM) event series held Jan. 7-11 at the Hilton Washington in Washington, D.C. Brands are able to have direct discussions with retailers and other brands about business objectives like product launches, marketing campaigns and more. Some of the major retailers include Amazon.com, Costco, CVS, GNC, Harris Teeter, LuckyVitamin.com, Meijer, Sam’s Club, The Fresh Market, Vitamin Shoppe, Walgreens, Whole Foods and more.

“PepPods are exciting to retailers because each tablet provides amino acids, antioxidants, electrolytes, vitamins and a bunch of minerals,” Pearce said. “And they’re small enough to keep tidy single packs or tubes of 10 by the cash register.”

PepPods do not contain sugar or gluten, are non-GMO and vegetarian friendly. It comes in citrus and berry flavors, and can also be purchased in tubes of 10 pods or 30-count boxes, in addition to the new 20-count single packet boxes.
