It is our greatest joy and privilege to invest in our community and our young people, and to provide them with supplies to help them in the New Year and beyond

Yesterday evening, PALMco Energy (PALMco), a privately-owned retail energy supply company, presented a $5,000 holiday gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County (BGCHC) in Hoboken and Jersey City, New Jersey to support afterschool programming. Over the previous month, PALMco matched individual donations to BGCHC dollar-for-dollar, resulting in a total of $5,000 collected through the run of the campaign. PALMco’s matching gift was presented at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County annual holiday party in Hoboken.

In addition to the check presentation, seven PALMco employees were in attendance to volunteer at the holiday party. Volunteers helped to organize and set up the BGCHC event beforehand, as well as to pass out gifts to the children in attendance, and clean up after the party.

“The holidays are a time to come together and do what we can to help those less fortunate. We’re proud that our matching holiday gift campaign inspired individuals throughout the community, resulting in a $10,000 holiday gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County.” said Robert Palmese, Chief Executive Officer of PALMco Energy. “It is our greatest joy and privilege to invest in our community and our young people, and to provide them with supplies to help them in the New Year and beyond. We couldn’t be happier to work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the years to come.”

“PALMco has provided significant support this holiday season to the children in Jersey City and Hoboken who are most in need,” noted Gary Greenberg, Executive Director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County. “We’re happy to have them on-board and look forward to partnering with the PALMco team in the future.”
