Apollo, the world’s first graphene battery USB C PD Power Bank, is live on global crowdfunding platform Kickstarter and trending fast having already quadrupled their raise goal in under two weeks.

The Apollo is a revolutionary new power bank that allow users to charge their phones in 20 minutes or less, thanks to the use of a powerful, fast-charging graphene battery and USB C PD technology.

"I am a businessman who travels all over the world for meetings, and am constantly replying to emails and conducting other business on my phone which leads to my battery quickly draining,” says Wade, Product Manager at Elecjet on the inspiration behind the project. “Charging the power bank becomes another thing I need to manage in my life and can take hours to charge. Sometimes, I run out of power at airports and trains, or will miss a taxi or important meeting due to the battery problem. It was this problem that led to the creation of Apollo.”

Apollo supports charging at up to 60W with batteries up to 6000mah completely charging in 20 minutes or less. The USB-C cable supports most major devices such as the Nintendo Switch and laptops from Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo and more. Thanks to the powerful internal Graphene Composite Battery, the power bank is completely safe resulting in no over heating and a lifespan of over 10,000 cycles. The Apollo Power Bank also supports fast charging of the iPhone 8 and iPhone X, allowing for 50% charging within 30 minutes.

The secret behind Apollo lies in the utilization of a powerful graphene composite cell to mobile power pack for the first time ever. The Apollo’s Graphene Composite Battery cells and the related technology are provided by CellsX, a talented company with more than 13 years of experience working with Graphene Battery Cell Technology.

On the basis of the same capacity and the same charging current, the cell with graphene composite material contains a much smaller internal resistance and better conductivity. Therefore, the temperature rise is lower during super fast charging, rending it safer while ensuring cell swelling and burning will never occur.
