Cynopsis Issues its Call for Entries for the Seventh Annual Cynopsis Sports Media Awards

Cynopsis Media announced its call for entries for the seventh annual Sports Media Awards, which benchmark the top sports-related programming, advertising, PR and marketing campaigns, as well as the individuals who drive the industry’s success. Cynopsis Sports is now accepting entries through January 30 (late deadline is February 6), and the winners will be announced at a special awards event on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan.

Presented by one of the sports world’s most-read and trusted brands, Cynopsis Sports, the awards are open to all networks, MSOs, leagues, teams, universities, production companies, studios, producers, developers, marketing and PR firms, and ad agencies. The eligibility period runs from January 1, 2017 - January 1, 2018. (Enter Online Now).

Spanning the spectrum of television, radio, and online platforms, honors will encompass every aspect of the industry, including linear TV, digital content, marketing, and more. A few fresh categories are joining this year’s list: Awareness Campaign for a Social Good Initiative, Event of the Year for a Breakthrough Sport, League of the Year for a Breakthrough Sport, Live Coverage of a Breakthrough Sport, Reality Series, Shining Stars (individual or company), and Social Good TV Special or Episode.

Winners and honorable mentions of the program will be recognized during an awards event on April 12, 2018 in New York City and profiled in a special edition of Cynopsis Sports.
