The Vitamin, Weight Management and Sports Nutrition Efficient Program Planning Sessions (EPPS) is a trade show where diet and nutrition companies like Matakana SuperFoods can network with major retail buyers in private sessions to show off its products. ECRM® has the potential to grow the brand recognition of Matakana SuperFoods, educating influential retail buyers about its nutrient dense superfood products.

“ECRM® lived up to our hopes as far as nutritional trade shows go,” Matakana SuperFoods CEO Dr. Kevin Glucina said. “We got to meet some of the biggest buyers in the vitamin, diet and nutrition world, who were intrigued by our products. We also learned of some minor changes that will help us gain traction in American stores and on ecommerce websites throughout the upcoming year.”

EPPS is a branch of the Efficient Collaborative Retail Marketing (ECRM®) event series held Jan. 7-11 at the Hilton Washington in Washington, D.C. Brands were able to have direct discussions with retailers and other brands about business objectives like product launches, marketing campaigns and more. Some of the major retailers included Amazon.com, Costco, CVS, GNC, Harris Teeter, LuckyVitamin.com, Meijer, Sam’s Club, The Fresh Market, Vitamin Shoppe, Walgreens, Whole Foods and more.

Dr. Kevin Glucina founded Matakana SuperFoods in 2009 behind the philosophy, “Nourish your body, enrich your life.” It continues to use premium quality ingredients that make food and drinks taste great while improving overall health and wellness.
