Laura Pattermann, a founding partner of Gallner & Pattermann, P.C., which exclusively represents the injured, recently joined the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG) Board of Governors.

“I am very excited to be a part of the WILG board. WILG gives a voice to injured workers across the country by allowing attorneys for employees ways to connect and communicate that did not exist previously,” said Laura. “It is intended to help ensure employees receive adequate monetary damages to compensate them for their work injuries. This corresponds perfectly with my practice, which is devoted to solely representing injured workers and their families.”

Additionally, Laura’s paralegal, Amy Roccaforte, received recognition from the WILG and was awarded the “Top Injured Workers’ Advocate Legal Staff,” recognizing her outstanding work with injured workers.

WILG is a national non-profit membership organization dedicated to representing the interests of millions of workers and their families who, each year, suffer the consequences of workplace injuries and illnesses. It acts principally to assist attorneys and non-profit groups in advocating the rights of injured workers through education, communication, research, and information gathering.

Furthermore, Gallner & Pattermann attorney T.J. Pattermann was recently elected to the Iowa Association for Justice (IAJ) Board of Governors for Judicial District 4. “I consider it an honor to have been elected by my fellow personal injury attorneys to represent them and all our respective clients with the Iowa association for Justice. IAJ does so much to protect the rights of people injured through the negligence of others to ensure they are properly compensated,” stated T.J., who focuses on personal injury, premises liability, and wrongful death cases.

The goal of the IAJ is to educate and empower attorneys who fight for justice in its courthouses and communities, and defend the legal rights of Iowans who seek justice in the courts. The IAJ serves the legal profession and the public through its efforts to preserve and strengthen the justice systems, to promote injury prevention, and to foster the disclosure of information critical to the health, safety, and financial well-being of all Iowa families.
