We continue to go from strength to strength, and our ongoing growth comes down to the people we hire. Andrew’s expertise in behavioural science will support AXON as we continue to develop an even more robust offering in healthcare communications, including PR and Med Comms.
London, United Kingdom (PRWEB UK) 14 February 2018
AXON is delighted to announce another significant milestone with the hiring of Andrew Martello, a behavioural science strategist with expertise in health- and medicines-related behaviour. Andrew will have a key role in expanding the Firm’s behavioural science expertise, as well as leading the new office that AXON plans to open in the Brighton area.
For AXON – a healthcare specialty communications agency that was named by PR Week as one of the seven UK agencies to watch in 2018 – this latest expansion will provide clients with a deeper understanding of patient and healthcare professional perspectives, which will, in turn, support informed decision-making around healthcare.
“A rigorous understanding and application of behavioural science will enable AXON teams to help our clients improve health outcomes through a deeper understanding of the factors that drive behaviours,” said Andrew Martello, Director, AXON. “I'm delighted to join a growing organisation that embraces this vision and to lead an expanding team.”
“We continue to go from strength to strength, and our ongoing growth comes down to the people we hire,” said Emma Kenny, PhD, Partner, AXON. “Andrew’s expertise in behavioural science will support AXON as we continue to develop an even more robust offering in healthcare communications, including public relations and medical communications.”
This presence in Brighton will build on previous growth in Europe, with AXON offices in London, Copenhagen and Zug, as well as AXON teams in New York and Toronto.
Commenting on the agency’s plan to open in Brighton, Miranda Dini, Managing Partner, AXON, said: “With its wealth of talent and reputation as an innovation hub, Brighton is an exciting and strategic choice for us. We know there is exciting talent there and plan to make further announcements shortly as we bring on new people. We see this as a great opportunity to expand our team, as well as infuse our existing colleagues with new skills.”
